Primary School Program
Sydney University Museums offer tours for K-6 classes which provide an introduction to the collections. Students are given the chance to discover the museum experience and to explore the world through the collection in a fun and stimulating manner. Various activities such as mummy wrapping, toga wearing, creative arts, butterfly creation and treasure hunts are possible depending upon the age groups. A range of worksheets are available on request.

Child Care Centres and Preschools:
Sydney University Museums Education Programs offer special one-hour tours for day care centres, child care centres and preschoolers, with fun activities designed to inspire children’s interests in museums. Activities include story readings, mummy wrapping and toga wearing exercises, our “beetles and bugs” program, colouring-in and other arts and crafts activities based
on exhibitions. Be among the youngest visitors to “graduate” from University!
Costs: $5 per child (Carers, parents and centre staff are free.
Minimum group charge is $60.)
