Dušan Marek Pharoah's Paradise 1970. University of Sydney Art Collection. Donated by James Agapitos and Ray Wilson through the Australian Government's Cultural Gifts Program 2005.

This exhibition of works by Dušan Marek at the Sydney University Gallery is the first retrospective since his death in 1993. It focuses upon the period from 1960, when he returned to Australia following a sojourn in Papua-New Guinea. The exhibition reveals Marek the painter, the filmmaker, the artist with a predilection for blurring boundaries and allowing his creativity to embrace many media.
