Work Experience

We have now filled all our places for Work Experience in 2014.
Many thanks to everyone who submitted an application.

Sydney University Museums offers a limited number of work experience placements to school students throughout the year. Students work with the Public Programs team, gaining experience in a variety of areas including:

  • research
  • arts administration
  • public programs and events in museums;
  • with special emphasis on Archaeology, Ancient History and Classics, Anthropology, Art History and Museums.

Placements are open to secondary school students in Year 10, and are for three days' duration.

If you are interested in being considered for a place, please contact the Public Programs Assistant (see below) at Sydney University Museums with your resume and a short cover letter that explains your interest in a placement in our program.
