MUSC2670 Music Festivals

1. For this course, it does not say specifically whether or not we are expected to have some musical backgrounds. Is it okay if I just have a passion for music?
No musical background is necessary. But a passion for music is going to be an excellent advantage for you!

2. How often are we involved in the concerts and festivals? And does it count as class times?
Depending upon the number of enrolments in the class, you will need to be involved in 2 festivals/concerts etc. at some point during the semester. One of these is required to be the ISCM World New Music Days, taking place at the start of May. The other is up to you to organize and find.

3. What do we do in the seminars and tutes then?
We cover theory and background to arts administration. So it's a mix of practice and background knowledge that we cover altogether.

1. Do I have to have 18 junior MUSC credit points to enrol in this unit of study?
No, 18 junior credit points in any subject area.
