Brass Unit

Students studying in the Brass Unit are encouraged to develop autonomous learning skills to equip them to become versatile performers. A solid understanding of the basics of brass playing is the foundation of the teaching style. The quest for virtuosity is encouraged and carefully guided by Brass Unit staff.

Brass Unit students develop ensemble skills from coaching in Brass chamber music and orchestral activities. Opportunities for developing versatility range from Early Music ensembles through to Big Band.
