Call for Papers for volume 2

The editors of the Sydney Undergraduate Journal of Musicology (SUJM) are currently inviting submissions of original research papers for inclusion in our December 2012 volume. SUJM is a publicly available journal dedicated to publishing research of outstanding quality written by undergraduate students enrolled in Sydney Conservatorium of Music (SCM) units of study. The editors conceive of musicology broadly and invite submissions in all areas of music research. Screened submissions are subject to double-blind expert review.

Eligibility for volume 2: At the time of submission you must be an undergraduate student enrolled in BMus or BMusSt at the SCM or an undergraduate student in another degree undertaking an SCM unit of study, OR you must have presented a version of your paper at the Music, Sound and Silence Symposium held on 28 February 2012.

Length of contributions: SUJM articles are normally between 4000 and 5000 words. Longer articles will be considered in consultation with the editors.

Submission: Submissions must be received by 11 June 2012. They can be sent by .doc or .rtf file to . Please ensure all supplementary files are attached separately in .jpeg or .tiff format.
