International Activities
The Sydney Conservatorium of Music boasts a vibrant and diverse student population with international students from over 20 nations. We welcome visiting music groups to include a tour of the Sydney Conservatorium on their itinerary – we can even arrange for a workshop in one of our stunning venues with a Conservatorium teacher.

China - November 2009
As part of the annual University of Sydney World Program in China, staff and students of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, with the support of the Faculty of Economics and Business travelled to Beijing, and Guangzhou for University of Sydney graduation ceremonies and receptions.
The group spent an afternoon of music exchange at Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Guangzhou where the two institutions presented information about their programs, and presented short performances featuring students from both institutions.

2009 European Tour
From 27 September to 14 October 2009 the Sydney Conservatorium Chamber Orchestra performer in 5 cities as part of the 2009 European tour, in partnership with leading European institutions.

Sydney Conservatorium of Music Percussion Ensemble
2009 Asian Tour
Whilst the Sydney Conservatorium Chamber Orchestra wowed audiences in Europe, the Sydney Conservatorium Percussion Quartet gave masterclasses and performances in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau as part of the 2009 Asian Tour.
