Excellence Awards
The Sydney Conservatorium of Music seeks to acknowledge and reward excellent teaching that responds to evidence of effective student learning.
The Conservatorium Teaching Awards criteria align with those used for the Carrick and Vice-Chancellor’s Teaching Awards. It is hoped that this will encourage using nomination for a Faculty Teaching Award as the basis for University and Carrick award applications.
Sydney Conservatorium of Music Teaching Awards
Staff are encouraged to nominate colleagues for the Sydney Conservatorium of Music Teaching Awards. Any staff member may nominate a colleague. In 2009, winners will receive prize money to support research and/or teaching needs.
Eligibility
Casual, fractional and full-time staff are eligible for nomination. Those who have received an Excellence in Teaching Award within the past two years are ineligible.
