He started his career as an audio engineer, working with many talented musicians and technical staff in recording studios across the UK and Europe. Clients have included Goldfrapp, Marc Almond, The Cure, Richard Ashcroft (The Verve), UNKLE, Pulp, Noisettes, Les Rita Mitsouko and Stereophonics. His work evolved into music production and composition with the release of five commercial artist albums released to date.

Initially focusing on live performance, the orchestra played many high profile concerts, including North Sea Jazz Festival (Netherlands), Transmusicale (France), London Jazz Festival, and a special performance at Royal Festival Hall (London).
Since 2003 Luke has worked as a media composer, contributing scores for film, televison and commercials. His clients include BBC, ABC, London Film Festival, Coca-Cola, Shell and Canal (France).
Recently, he has worked with leading music software developer iZotope on two of its popular audio plugins, Nectar and Alloy 2. He also has a passion for film music and is currently developing software that will give film directors and film editors greater control of musical cues within a media project.
