Senator George Brandis, Minister for Arts and Sport, and Peter Garrett MP, Shadow Minister for the Arts, will launch the publication, Australian Arts: Where the Bloody Hell Are You? Australian Arts in an International Context.

The pair will debate their parties' arts policies in the lead-up to this year's federal election and face questions from an informed panel on matters of importance to the arts community.

Featuring contributions from speakers at the symposium, the publication is a timely and critical look at Australian arts in a global context. The book, edited by John Clark, Peter McCallum and Ian Maxwell, will be available for sale on the night.
