Beijing book launch: Australia and China at 40

Australia and China at 40, a book edited by CSC members Dr James Reilly andA/ProfJingdong Yuan was launched at the Australian Embassy in Beijing on 24 October.

Australia and China at 40 is a volume of essays looking at the past, present and future of relations between Australia and China. Occasioned by the fortieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in December 1972, the China Studies Centre has brought together leading analysts of China-Australia relations from both countries.

Speakers at this special occasion included HE Frances Adamson, Australia's Ambassador to the People's Republic of China, Professor Kerry Brown, Executive Director, China Studies Centre and Dr James Reilly, member of the China Studies Centre, University of Sydney.
