New rule requires Chinese children to visit ageing parents

ABC NewsRadio has interviewed Professor Kerry Brown, Executive Director of the China Studies Centre, regards to a new law threatening adult children with legal action if they fail to visit their elderly parents regularly in China.
Professor Brown commented that a better social welfare system and social cohesion need to be built in China to facilitate this aging nation due to One-child Policy.
