Dr Sarah Mansfield awarded a Thompson Fellowship
13 December 2012
Dr Sarah Mansfield is the first faculty member to be awarded a Thompson Fellowship. Her fellowship project is titled "Managing Australia's exports: Biological control of eucalypt pests". She will be travelling to the USA, Chile and New Zealand as part of her research program in 2013.
The Thompson fellowship provides teaching relief and financial support for a year to allow fellows to focus solely in research. It is one of three equity fellowships offered by the University of Sydney and targets women at levels C and D who intend to apply for promotion in the near future.
