The Faculty of Agriculture and Environment will be hosting its annual honours undergraduate student conference - 'Stepping Outwith Fresh Ideas' (SOwFI) on 8 & 9 November 2012 in the New Law Building Lecture Theatre 101. The Conference will feature the honours projects of students completing degree programs in the fields of Agricultural Economics, Horticulture Science, Land and Water Science, Resource Economics and Science in Agriculture. These honours students have undertaken individual research projects under the supervision of Faculty academic and research staff, producing their research theses to a journal article standard.
The research projects to be highlighted over the two days encapsulates the learning journey of the students as well as their research and analytical skills developed throughout their candidature under the Faculty's applied degree programs covering a broad range of agricultural, economic, resource management and environmental areas, addressing issues of today from a scientific and economic perspective.
