The Faculty's Back to Agriculture Open Day at the University's Quadrangle on Saturday 5 June will be a family event.
Chocolate tastings with a scientific bent, a baby animal farm, a Memory Room featuring photos and highlights of the last century, and the sale of alumni-produced goods will be among the attractions of the day. Entertainment includes the Graduate Choir in the Great Hall, face-painting, and live performances from student clubs like Jazzsoc, Surcas (circus society). So bring the kids along.
Hot Topic Talks with leading thinkers Professor Mark Adams, Professor Alex McBratney, Dr Michael Harris, Dr Jenny Jobling. Professor John Crawford and Dr Stephen Cattle will focus on the global issues of our times. Not-to-be missed.
And be among the first to purchase the specially bred Agriculture Centenary Daisy at the Plant Breeding Institute marquee!
This is a free event and includes a BBQ, music, and guided tours of museums and the art gallery. FREE parking will be available in the Law Building (next to Fisher Library).
