Soil Science Alumni Survey
10 August 2010
The Faculty of Agriculture is constantly looking for opportunities to promote its alumni and their wide range of capabilities and achievements. We also rely on the expert advice and feedback we receive from our alumni to tailor our current curricula to meet the current and future needs of the sector.
For both of these reasons, we are participating in a national survey of Soil Science graduates to find out how their studies have prepared them for the workplace and supported their careers. The project is being run in conjunction with the Universities of Adelaide, Melbourne, Queensland, and Western Australia and is supported by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council.
We are hoping you can assist the Faculty by completing the survey. It will take 15 to 20 minutes, but as it is online, you can save your work and return and respond at your convenience.

Please note that all responses to this survey will be treated confidentially. Responses will be aggregated and it will not be possible to identify individuals. For a copy of the results, or further information on the survey, please contact Dr Tony Koppi (Project Manager (Academic). Dr Koppi is also coordinating a live forum in Sydney on the subject on Wednesday 8 September for alumni, employers and academics. Expert advice from our alumni on the soil sciences curriculum is critical if we are to ensure Sydney students continue to be best prepared for entering the workplace. Expressions of interest to participate can be lodged by contacting Dr Koppi directly.
Finally, we hope to catch up with you at our centenary events in Narrabri and Cobbitty in September and November this year as part of our continuing celebrations of 100 years of world-changing Agriculture at the Faculty. If you have missed invitations to any of our earlier events, please click here to update your contact details.
