We know that students who overcome disadvantage can achieve excellent results at university, especially with support from the University. Access Scholarships assist academically gifted students with demonstrated financial disadvantage to pursue their tertiary education. If you are currently financially disadvantaged (for example, if you are receiving Youth Allowance or some other means-tested Commonwealth benefit), if you have financial difficulties due to a disability or other disadvantage, or if you expect to be financially disadvantaged whilst at the University, we recommend you apply through 'UAC's Equity Scholarships' application http://www.uac.edu.au/equity/. You can apply at any stage of your degree, and they are available for any undergraduate degree.
These are open on our Scholarships Future Students HSC/IB students page, on our Current students page - Equity Scholarships and on our Now Open page sydney.edu.au/scholarships
