New Alumni Council Members elected
20 November 2013
On behalf of the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sydney, we would like to thank all alumni who nominated or voted in the 2013 Alumni Council elections.
Results in the four faculties which went to election were announced today, with successful candidates joining those who were elected directly to Faculty representative positions on the Alumni Council. Members are elected to a four year term of office, from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2017.

These elected members join eight existing members appointed directly by the Vice-Chancellor, as well as the five alumni who will join the new Council as newly elected Graduate Fellows of Senate.
The Alumni Council plays an important role in representing the University's 280,000 strong world-wide alumni community, engaging alumni in the life of the University and supporting alumni outreach programs.
New and returning Council members will also have a significant role to play in shaping the future role of the Alumni Council as they work through the recommendations of the Alumni Council's 2013 Review.
