University staff and students receive a 10 percent discount on the popular Tai Ji classes at the Confucius Institute.
Tai Ji is a Chinese martial art and one of the world's most popular forms of exercise. Using the ancient Chinese principles of yin and yang, Tai Ji uses gradual, flowing movements in order to train the body and focus the mind.
New classes start from 2 August and our teacher will take you step-by-step through each form to ensure that you feel the benefits of Tai Ji. In our recent survey, all students rated the teacher as excellent and commented that the class has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The teacher is very mindful of each individual's needs and is genuinely interested in all the participants doing the best that they possibly can.
