Registration for Weaving the Silk Roads conference is now open

TheAustralasian Society for Inner Asian Studies (ASIAS) invites staff and students to submit proposals for papers to be presented at its upcoming conference, presented by the University of Sydney's Confucius Institute and Macquarie University.
Themed Weaving the Silk Roads,the conference will be held from Friday 19 toSunday 21 November andbrings together Australian and international scholars working on different aspects and periods of the history of Inner Asia.Weaving the Silk Roadsaims to provide a forum where students and academics can exchange research findings and present new ideas.
The keynote speaker will be Professor Nicola Di Cosmo of the Institute of Advanced Study, who will give a lecture entitled Local Cultures and Long-Range Exchange among the Ancient Inner Asian Nomads: A Historical Analysis.Registrations for the conference is now open
