Dr Richard Wu has a love of Chinese history and cuisines and over years has contributed to public knowledge about Chinese food, including in the SBS food guide, Sydney magazine and Satellite TV Cook Show.

This talk covered the development and characteristics of China's eight regional cuisines, surprising historical cross influences with Western cuisines and tales of famous creators of Chinese dishes.

Dr Wu will also offered suggestions on where and how to order authentic Chinese dishes in Sydney.
