The Faculty of Education and Social Work's Artist in Residenceprogram is now in its sixth year and we are delighted to present award-winning artist, author and filmmaker, Jeannie Baker as this year's resident artist.
The Faculty of Education and Social Work's Artist in Residenceprogram is now in its sixth year and we are delighted to present award-winning artist, author and filmmaker, Jeannie Baker as this year's resident artist.

We invite you to a special event and reception to launch this year's Artist in Residence program on Thursday 8 September, 5-7:30pm.

Jeannie Baker will be discussing her work and career with Professor Robyn Ewing, followed by a reception where you will be able to meet Jeannie, catch-up with old friends and colleagues, learn more about the work of the Faculty, and share stories. 



The Faculty of Education and Social Work's Artist in Residence program is now in its sixth year and we are delighted to present award-winning artist, author and filmmaker, Jeannie Baker as this year's resident artist.

Baker has created numerous children's picture books, including Where the Forest meets the Sea and, most recently, Circle.

Her work focuses on a diverse range of issues including: family, society, sustainability, the environment, car-free urban spaces, Australian outback, and wildlife. 



The full Artist in Residence program with Jeannie Baker offers a series of events and opportunities for our students, staff, alumni, friends and other stakeholders in which Jeannie will be discussing her work in conversation, leading a series of workshops, and offering consultations.
