Congratulations to Dr Mark McEntee who has been awarded the Fellowship of the Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation Therapy.


The Fellowship of the IIRRT is an honorary title, bestowed upon individuals who have made significant contribution to the radiography/radiation therapy profession. The award of the Fellowship is regarded as an honour and privilege.
Additionally, the individual receives complimentary life membership of The IIRRT.


The Fellowship was awarded to Dr McEntee for outstanding contributions to the professions of radiography and radiation therapy particularly in the areas of

  • promotion of the science and practice of diagnostic imaging and/or radiation therapy for the benefit of the public;
  • published work;
  • contributions to the professional development of colleagues;
  • contributions to educational developments within diagnostic imaging and/or radiation therapy;
  • advocacy and ambassadorial roles within and outside the profession both nationally and internationally
