There is more than one way to become a qualified health professional

With our Graduate Entry Master's (GEM) Guarantee the Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHS) can lead you to that qualification.

There are two ways to become a qualified health professional with the Faculty of Health Sciences

This year the Faculty is offering our new intake of 2009 BHS students a guaranteed place in our Graduate Entry Master's (GEM) programs on gaining a minimum credit average in their undergraduate degree. All GEMs offer a right to practice on graduation.

Students should be aware that study in prescribed majors is a prerequisite for entry into some programs as detailed in the table below.

Master of Physiotherapy	Movement Science major
Master of Exercise Physiology	Movement Science major
Master of Speech Language Pathology	Hearing and Speech major
Master of Health Informatics	Any BHS second major
Master of Diagnostic Radiography	Any BHS second major
Master of Nuclear Medicine	Any BHS second major
Master of Radiation Therapy	Any BHS second major
Master of Occupational Therapy	Any BHS second major
Master of Orthoptics	Any BHS second major
Master of Rehabilitation Counselling	Any BHS second major
