O Week at Cumberland

5 March 2013

Cumberland campus resumed being a hive of activity last week as we welcomed our new students to the faculty for orientation.

Over 1000 new students attended 'O Week' at Cumberland, with 52 of our undergraduate and postgraduate student volunteers providing invaluable assistance to ensure all of the events ran smoothly.

'O Week' offers students the opportunity to learn more about the Faculty including the staff and their respective disciplines, as well as participating in campus, computer lab and library tours. This year we were also fortunate enough to have a number of our GEM students present at the discipline talks which received very positive feedback.

Once again, we extend a warm welcome to our new students and huge thanks to our course directors and student volunteers who worked so hard to make this year's orientation a tremendous success!
