Upcoming communication in autism workshop

Dr Joanne Arciuli from the Discipline of Speech Pathology and Disability & Community Faculty Research Groupis co-hosting an externally funded workshop on communication in autism from August 24 - 25 in Sydney.
The workshop will focus on the behavioural, cognitive, and neural basis of communication impairments affecting individuals with autism spectrum disorders, as well as research evaluating the efficacy of various intervention strategies.
International keynote speakers include visiting professor at the University of Sydney, Professor Pat Howlin from the Institute of Psychology, London and Professor Morton Gernsbacher from the University of Madison-Wisconsin.
The workshop will appeal to all Australian researchers and practitioners with a direct or indirect interest in autism and related communication disorders and will also be of interest to students conducting research in this area.
