Launch of new postgraduate lounge

The Loft, the new postgraduate student lounge, was officially launched on Monday, 22 February.

The opening was in conjunction with orientation day for students commencing a graduate entry masters program in 2010. The students were addressed by Associate Dean Postgraduate, Professor Stephanie Short and Dr. Susan Coulson. After an introduction into postgraduate life, students enjoyed some refreshments and the chance to meet the teaching and research staff from their disciplines.

Equipped with computers and comfortable lounges, the Loft will be a place for postgraduate students to study or relax in between classes.
