FHS Student Staff Consultative Committee

The primary purpose of the FHS Student Staff Consultative Committee will be to provide regular consultation between the Faculty and the representative student associations on all policy matters relating to the student experience.

The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences is the Chair and the co-chair will be decided at the next meeting on 11 October.

  • FHS Faculty Manager

  • Nominee from SRC
  • Indigenous Student Support and Recruitment from Yoorang Garang and 1 student nominee
  • Disability Support Officer and 2 student nominees
  • BHS first year coordinator and 2 student nominees
  • International Student - 1 nominee
  • Manager, Graduate Research Studies and 2 student nominees
  • Campus Rewards-2 nominees
  • Orthoptics student nominee
  • Rehabilitation Counselling student nominee
  • Nominee from Australasian Union of Jewish Students (AUJS)
  • Nominee from Cumberland Christian Chinese Fellowship (Cumbo CCF)
  • Nominee from Cumberland Muslim Society (CMS)
  • Nominee from Cumberland Occupational Therapy Student Association (COTSA)

The Committee will meet regularly in 2012 and is looking forward to hearing from all the student representatives, in the hope that this forum will open up the lines of communication between the faculty and the students thereby making the student experience a very positive one.
