Greatest challenges facing healthcare

On 18 April, over 120 guests arrived at the MacLaurin Hall at the University of Sydney, in spite of the tempestuous weather, to hear from the experts on their views about what the greatest challenges facing healthcare were.

Michael Dickson, an alumnus of the Faculty of Health Sciences and now Director of National Health Services, Price Waterhouse Coopers along with an expert panel from the University's faculties of health that included; nursing, health sciences, medicine, pharmacy and dentistry, led an informative, candid and often humorous discussion on how innovation, prevention and a refocus of public services can improve outcomes for patients and health professionals.
