University colleges now using external Internet Service Providers (ISP)

8 November 2013

All University of Sydney colleges (Mandelbaum House, Sancta Sophia, St Andrew's, St John's, St Paul's, Women's, Wesley and Sydney Uni Village) are now using either Cirrus or Big Air as their internet service providers (ISPs).

Where the College has access to the internet via the University network, this access is primarily provided for study and research purposes under the provisions of the ICT Resources Usage Policy. For those Colleges that use the ISP exclusively to access external websites, students will no longer have to enter the University's proxy settings.

If technical difficulties arise, students need to contact their college administration staff to log a technical support call to the ISP.
