The University's Central Mail service has been turned off and replaced with Microsoft Exchange

Over the past few months, ICT has been working to transfer staff who were still using the Central Mail service into Microsoft Exchange. This transfer is part of the University's strategy to centralise its staff email service, making it more secure and reliable, and allowing staff to receive more efficient support. The final group was migrated last week and the Central Mail service was turned off on 31 October.
As a result of this change, staff email is stored on a more secure server which will give University staff faster access to their emails and less spam in their inbox.
