21 March 2013

The Sydney Institute of Criminology (IC) launched the new book, Restorative Justice and Emerging Practice at a Beyond Punishment seminar recently.

Co-edited by Associate Professor Gail Mason, the book examines the values and challenges of restorative justice for adult offenders, victims and communities.

"We were delighted to see so many people engaging with the issue of restorative justice for adult offenders, and to access different perspectives in the field from practitioners and academics alike," said Institute Director, Dr Rebecca Scott Bray.

"We were thrilled to mark the third event in the 2012-2013 Beyond Punishment seminar series sponsored by Corrective Services NSW with such an excellent event."

The book was launched at the Beyond Punishment seminar, Restorative Justice and Adult Offending on Wednesday, 6 March 2013.
