Emeritus Professor Ben Boer awarded Fernand Braudel Senior Fellowship

Emeritus Professor Ben Boer has been awarded a Fernand Braudel Senior Fellowship for three months at the European University Institute in Florence, from September to November this year.

His research project will focus on Biodiversity, Protected Areas and Climate Change Law and Policy.

He will give a paper on this area at the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law Annual Colloquium at Ghent University in Belgium in mid-September.

Ben will also be leading a seminar course with Professor Francesco Francioni for postgraduate students at the Institute in the area of Human Rights and the Environment.
