Juvenille Offenders

16 November 2012

Garner Clancey comments on whether there has been an increase in the number of juvenille offences.

Speaking to A Current Affair in the wake of grocery store robbery by primary school age offenders, Mr Clancey says youth crime stems from boredom and lack of parental control.
"For some of these young people involved in crime, often their home environment is not a safe place and that's often why they're out on the street late at night," he asserts.
