Sydney Law School would like to congratulate two of its faculty members on their respective Australia Day honours.

Professor Patrick Parkinson received the AM for his service to the law, in  recognition of  his outstanding research and contributions to law reform.

Adjunct Professor The Hon. Justice Ronald Sackville  QC  received the AO for his services to law, as a scholar and member of the Federal Court.

Adjunct Professor Sackville will teach a specialised postgraduate coursework unit of study entitled  Judging, one of over 30 new postgraduate subjects as part of the  Sydney Law School's 2009 Postgraduate Program.
