Sydney Law School is pleased to announce a new intensive unit in carbon trading as part of the  2009 Sydney Law School Postgraduate Program

Carbon Trading, Derivatives and Taxation is an intensive unit of study scheduled to be delivered in Semester 2 2009.

Coordinated by Sydney Law School's  Associate Professor Rosemary Lyster, it is set to be taught by other experts that include:

Dr Tim Stephens, Sydney Law School 

Celeste Black, Sydney Law School 

Scott Farrell, Mallesons Stephen Jaques 

Petrea Bradford, Origin Energy 

Designed to provide students with an understanding of the legal frameworks governing international and domestic carbon trading, it is available to study through the following Sydney Law School degree programmes:

• Master of Laws (LLM) or Graduate Diploma in Law (GradDipLaw) 
• Master of Business Law (MBL) 
• Master of Environmental Law (MEL) or Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law (GradDipEnvLaw) 
• Master of International Law (MIL) or Graduate Diploma in International Law (GradDipIL) 
• Master of International Taxation (MIntTax) 
• Master of Taxation (MTax) or Graduate Diploma in Taxation (GradDipTax) 

Candidates can also enrol in the subject on a  Legal Professional Development (LPD),  Single Unit Enrolment or Cross-Institutional basis.
