Peter Cameron Sydney Oxford Scholarship Winner Announced

Aaron Rathmell is the recipient of the 2009 Peter Cameron Sydney Oxford Scholarship.
Aaron graduated with a first class honours degree in Law in 2008 and is currently works as a tipstaff to Justice MH Tobias, AM in the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of NSW.
He was selected from a strong field of applicants.
The selection committee chaired by the Dean, Professor Gillian Triggs noted that Aaron had real depth, a scholarly approach to research and writing, and was most impressive in his commitment to community service.
Aaron has been accepted into the BCL at Oxford.
He will receive college assistance from Exeter College, and return airfares and an internship from Herbert Smith.
The Scholarship was established by the Law School and the Cameron family through contributions from the friends and colleagues of the late Peter Cameron to promote further study in law at the completion of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
