Sydney Law School is still accepting applications for mid year entry into its Postgraduate Coursework Program. Sydney Law School offers Australia's largest postgraduate program in law for 2009, with over 160 units of study scheduled to be taught. 70% of these units of study are delivered in the popular intensive format, where units can be completed in four to five days, either in a block or consecutive format. In addition, Sydney Law School will offer 31 new units of study, a 25% increase over 2008. The new units for Semester 2 2009 include: Advanced International Environmental Law Comparative Taxation of Financial Transactions Consumer Contracts & Product Defects Dealing in Art & Cultural Heritage Dispute Settlement in the World Trade Organization International Sports Arbitration Sydney Law School delivers its Sydney LLM - Master of Laws (LLM)- alongside itsspecialist postgraduate coursework programs, with a number of diverse qualifications open to Non-Lawyers. It also has Australia's largest number of postgraduate research students in law and was the first Australian law school to introduce a Doctor of Juridical Studies (SJD), a unique qualification that permits the completion of a 75,000 word thesis alongside units in coursework.
