Victoria sets timetable for civil reform

Victoria will have a new civil procedure act within 12 months, following recommendations by a committee of which Adjunct Professor Peter Cashman was part. In an article in The Australian, the Attorney-General Robert Hulls confirnmed that the "overriding obligations" and codes of "sensible conduct", which Adjunct Professor Cashman pushed for, would be part of the new act.
