This new Labour and Employment Law unit coincides with the International Society for Labour and Social Security Law XIX World Congress, to be held in Sydney in early September 2009. Taught by Professor Joellen Riley, the unit explores how globalisation and rapid developments in information technology have created particular challenges for labour law. International Guest Speakers include: Professor Mark Freedland, Oxford University Professor Judy Fudge, University of Victoria, Canada Professor Takashi Araki, Tokyo University The unit is available to study through the following Sydney Law School degree programmes:
