2009 Prizegiving Ceremony

26 May 2009

On Thursday 21 May 2009, the Sydney Law School held its annual prize giving ceremony to celebrate the achievements of outstanding students. Joining the prize winners in the celebrations were their family and friends, prize donors, and Sydney Law School staff.

The support of the community and the profession for the Sydney Law School is invaluable and the prizes awarded to our students wouldn't be possible without it. We therefore warmly thank all donors for their continuing support.

The Prizegiving Ceremony was opened with a welcome by Professor Gillian Triggs, Dean of the Faculty of Law.A recording of the Dean's welcome speech is available from Sydney Law School Video page.

Addresses were also given by the two University medallists, Zachary John Vermeer and Tina Xiao Tian Zhuo. You can hear each medallist's speech by visiting the Sydney Law School Video page. Transcripts of the speeches are available by clicking on the links below.

The Sydney Law School would like to warmly congratulate all of the prize winners.
