US International Taxation

Stafford Smiley, a member in Caplin & Drysdale's Washington, DC office and a Visiting Professor in the Graduate Tax LLM Program at Georgetown University Law Center, will teach US International Taxation in semester two 2009 as an intensive unit of study.

The unit examines in detail the most important legislative and treaty rules of the US as they apply to cross-border business and investment transactions, both inbound and outbound.

The unit is available to study through the following Sydney Law School degree programmes:

This unit of study meets the training and development requirements of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA).

Candidates can also enrol in the subject on a Legal Professional Development (LPD), Single Unit Enrolment or Cross-Institutional basis.
