New South Wales to refuse cap on political donations

A report by Associate Professor Anne Twomey suggests a state-based ban on political donations may be "constitutionally invalid".

In an article in today's Sydney Morning Herald, the New South Wales Premier, Nathan Rees, made reference to the report in response to the State Government's decision not to follow the Queensland State Government and introduce a cap on political donations.
