Sydney Law School congratulates Professor Rosalind Croucher (BA 1977, LLB 1980) on her appointment as President of the Australian Law Reform Commission.

The Attorney-General, The Hon. Robert McClelland made the announcement on 15 December 2009.

Professor Croucher replaces Emeritus Professor David Weisbrot AM, who returns to the University of Sydney after a ten year stint at the ALRC, prior to which he held the positions of Dean of the Sydney Law School and Pro Vice-Chancellor.
