Comparative Climate Law - New Sydney Law School in Europe Unit for 2010

Sydney Law School is pleased to annouce a new unit as part of its Sydney Law School in Europe Program in 2010 - Comparative Climate Law.

Taught by Professor Rosemary Lyster of Sydney Law School and Professor Kurt Deketelaere, Leuven University in The Netherlands, the unit analyses the different ways in which three jurisdictions, the European Union, the United States and Australia, have responded to the phenomenon of global climate change.

It also considers the responses situated within the international legal framework for climate change, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Kyoto Protocol and post-2012 international negotiations.

It is available to study through the following Sydney Law School degree programs:
