Professor Mark Findlay examines the history and contemporary philosophy of policing and current issues in the institutions and processes of policing in Australia in this first semester intensive postgraduate unit.

Policing Australian Society covers the development of civil policing in Australia and considers the community framework within which the police operate.

The unit is available to study through the following Sydney Law School degree programmes:
