Professor Barbara McDonald comments on the legal aspects of the Lara Bingle nude photo scandal. In a series of interviews with Channel 7, Professor McDonald suggests both parties involved in the publication of the photo may have a case to answer. "Assuming the photo was taken against her (Lara Bingle's) will, which it appears to be, and it was leaked without her consent, then I think she has a good action for breach of confidence against whoever leaked it and anyone who publishes it." Barbara McDonald is a co-author with Associate Professor Patricia Loughlan and Professor Robert van Krieken of a forthcoming book Celebrity and the Law to be published by Federation Press in April.
