Sydney Law School's Law Building has won another award, this time in the Australian Timber Design Awards.

It won the category for Best Use of Decorative Wood Veneers.

The Law School Building officially opened on 30 April 2009.

It has received extensive architectural praise and has won a number of awards including:

• The Australian Institute of Architects Award
• NSW Architecture Awards - public architecture, sustainable architecture and commendation for urban design

It was profiled in Architectural Review Australia and the Sydney Morning Herald's Architecture Writer, Elizabeth Farrelly referred to it as "A serene yet commanding presence on the campus edge."
