The Annual Association of Pacific Rim Universities Doctoral Students Conference Scholarship

Congratulations to PhD student, Stefan Gruber (LLM 2006) on winning this Scholarship for 2010.

The Annual Association of Pacific Rim Universities Doctoral Students Conference Scholarship provides funding for University of Sydney students presenting papers at the Annual Association of Pacific Rim Universities Doctoral Students Conference.

The theme of this year's conference is "Research for the Sustainability of Civilizations: Past, Present and Future" and it will be held at the University of Indonesia.

Stefan's paper is entitled "A Legal Approach to Sustaining Asia's Cultural Heritage for Future Generations".

Stefan is an international student from Germany and his thesis topic is "Re-Awakening a Giant's Culture - A Legal Approach to Preserving China's Cultural Heritage".

His supervisor is Emeritus Professor Ben Boer.
