Comparative Taxation of Financial Transactions examines recent global developments, including the Taxation of Financial Arrangements (TOFA) in Australia relating to the taxation of financial transactions.

Taught by Professor Tim Edgar, it will undertake a comparative analysis of approaches taken to the taxation of financial transactions.

Candidates can also enrol in the subject on a Legal Professional Development (LPD), Single Unit Enrolment or Cross-Institutional basis.

It also meets the training and development requirements of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICCA).

Sydney Law School is scheduled to deliver over 30 units of study in Taxation and International Taxation in 2010, taught by members of the Ross Parsons Centre of Commercial, Corporate and Taxation Law and our distinguished international visiting and adjunct faculty.
